Dear International Thermochronology Community:
We hope you are all safe and healthy. Preparations are continuing for the meeting, but the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic has introduced substantial uncertainty. Nothing would please us more than to welcome as many old and new friends as possible to Santa Fe this September to share our friendship and science once again, but it is very unclear whether circumstances will permit us to come together at that time and place.
In consultation with our Organizing Committee, and in hope that the crisis passes in time for people to make realistic plans to attend, we are making some final changes, waiving the planned abstract submission fee and pushing the deadline back to May 15th. This will give events more time to play out, and help accommodate those who are being temporarily locked out of their institutions or laboratories.
We hope to roll out the abstract submission site shortly, with the welcome help of AGU Meetings, whom we are partnering with to help organize the conference. We will also publish the second circular, and work to keep this site up to date with the latest developments.
